My experience receiving chin liposuction from Dr. Ulm and his team was wonderful. From the very beginning they were supportive and informative, and really helped answer my questions and prepare me for exactly what I was in for. In the week leading up to surgery, they checked in on me and made sure to talk through any of my questions and fears, and the day of they were so kind and accommodating. I had 3 C-sections, the most recent 12 1/2 years ago, and during the pandemic, I lost almost 90 pounds. I had a lot of skin after I lost my fat. My abs were shot, and my skin was flabby, so I couldn't really enjoy my huge weight loss. I wanted a tummy tuck and brachioplasty. Last minute, I added on a little liposuction for the last little bit of stubborn fat. I met with Dr. Ulm, and felt immediately comfortable with going through with the procedure. We moved quickly because I wanted it done over my holiday break. It was DEFINITELY worth it. I was really anxious on surgery day as the pandemic was still going on, and I was nervous about major surgery, especially one I didn't "need." The anesthesiologist, nurse, and Dr. Ulm did not ignore my mental health on that day! I felt very safe and "in the right hands." He said the pain/recovery would be like with my C-sections, and that was about right! Afterward, Dr. Ulm called my husband every day to make sure I was okay, and I had to check in with a nurse every day. I felt confident that if there were a problem, I would be taken care of, even over a holiday break. Aftercare has been great, as well. My scar (on my abdomen) is right over my C-section scar. My arm scars are, of course, harder to hide, but I'm still very, very happy (as my arm flab was harder to hide!). I am still getting used to my tummy being numb, but he says it will keep getting better, and that is a small price to pay! I am about 12 weeks post-op, and I bought my first bikini ever! On the day of the consult, Dr. Ulm showed me where my scar would be, and he asked if that would "interfere with where my bikinis normally lie." I told him I have never worn a bikini. He said, "well after this, maybe you will." I didn't believe I would ever be THAT confident with my body. Laura was also awesome, helping me navigate all the craziness of scheduling the surgery and aftercare. She was always available to me. In summary, I DEFINITELY recommend Dr. Ulm and his team for your tummy tuck!

I am so glad I went to Dr. Ulm, I am 10 days post op for a tummy tuck, implant exchange and lift. This is by far the worst pain I have ever been in but it gets better each day. I’m excited to see what my final results will be but so far I’m satisfied!

 I got botched by a Dr in Florida who was on Lifetime fixing botched patients therefore I thought he was good. I had a saline leak from a previous implant. This Florida Dr, despite my 5 emails not to be bigger than I was before (I’m small framed) not only made my breast 350 to 415,, one breast was much larger than other by one size, they were oddly shaped, and they were much saggier from what I was before. I was so scared for surgery again, who to have it with. I didn’t want to stay that way , I always work hard on my body. I worked out running and weights, it crushed me. It was extremely emotional. It’s not like a bad tailored shirt I could take off. It decreased my confidence and was financially draining . Not only did Dr. Ulm's revision make me back to where I was but better !!! I’m perkier and shaped beautifully ! I think it’s so very very important to find a doctor who listens! Who knows how to give you the right fit and knows how to do beautiful surgery! Cosmetic surgery is an art!!! It’s so extremely important to find a good surgeon ! I highly highly recommend Dr. Ulm ! Thank Dr Ulm for giving me confidence back!!!

Dr.Ulm and his team are the best! My procedure was a breast implant exchange (went smaller), and he did exactly what I asked for. I know two other ladies who have gone to him for different procedures that also HIGHLY recommend him.

Well before surgery – choosing a doctor:I scheduled consultations with 3 surgeons (all outside of my local market because I couldn’t find any before/after pics online from local doctors that I liked). However, after meeting with Dr. Ulm, my husband and I both felt so confident and comfortable with him, I cancelled my other appointments. He took time with us and never made me feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. He is kind, meticulous and compassionate. Once I met with Dr. Ulm, I knew I did not need a second opinion. He fully explained the reconstruction process since I would be having a double mastectomy. I was very nervous about my breast augmentation. I had never had anytime of surgeries. Dr. Ulms took his time explaining the whole procedure..even though I was very nervous and had lots of questions. I had breast cancer in 2017, Dr. Ulm has dobe my reconstruction, fat grafting (twice), a lift and implant on the non cancer breast. He makes you feel like the only patient in the world. He was always patient and kind to me even though I may have been a pain. I had plenty of plastic surgeon options closer to home but I drove and still drive the 2 hrs to see him. Although because of the cancer my breasts will never look like the originals, he did a fantastic job of making them look the same as each other and I love them now.

Once the breast cancer diagnosis was made, the need for a mastectomy determined;I decided to have breast reconstruction. My breast surgeon offered a list of plastic surgeons to provide what was needed.

The procedure in which I was interested was only offered in Charleston. I scheduled an interview with Dr. Jason Ulm. He listen to my story and the concerns that my husband and I had.

Dr. Ulm then laid out the options available, indicating the pros and cons of each procedure. We were shown photographs of completed and in process procedures. Any additional questions and concerns were addressed. We were asked to take time to think over all we had been told and contact the office in a few days. Which we did and another visit was made.

The tram flap was the procedure for which I opted. At the second visit, Dr. Ulm provided additional details and what to expect the day of the surgery and post-op.

During both visits, Dr. Ulm was open to questions and concerns. He was friendly, reassuring and professional. I felt comfortable and satisfied with the choices we had made.

While the procedure I selected required longer recovery period, I had no problems during my hospitalization ( surgery on Friday and home on Monday). Each day I was visited by Dr. Ulm or one of his associates.

Follow up visits have been handled in a timely manner. Again any questions or concerns were addressed.

During the entire process, Dr. Ulm explained procedures and expected results. Any questions and concerns were addressed as they arose. He considered our opinions before making suggestions. He listened carefully to our questions and concerns.

Dr Ulm is a wonderful caring doctor. He’s very professional, double board certified and amazing at what he does but most importantly he has the best bedside manner, he makes you feel comfortable from the moment he walks in. The big plus they have operating room on site and don’t charge extra fees for operating room in the hospital like some surgeons do.

I found Dr. Ulm online, and considered him for my breast reduction surgery. I went in for consultation August 24th. During consultation Dr. Ulm took his time with me and thoroughly explained the procedure. He also answered all my questions as well, and his nurse Teresa was great. I got the surgery done September 15th! I was in and out in no time. Dr. Ulm did an AMAZING job on my breast reduction, it looks fabulous! I couldn’t be more thankful and I am beyond satisfied. Not to mention, I no longer have anymore neck, back, and shoulder pain. Yay!!!!!!

I was referred to Dr. Ulm when I was diagnosed with breast cancer, by a friend who also had breast cancer, and had an amazing experience with him. Once I met with Dr. Ulm, I knew I did not need a second opinion. He fully explained the reconstruction process since I would be having a double mastectomy. I don’t think there was anything he didn’t cover. I never expected the amazing results I got!! It was a process to put me back together, but he made it all so “easy” and pleasant. I had many appointments with him. He always took his time, never rushed you out, and made you feel like a priority!! After a year of reconstruction with him, and I knew he was incredible surgeon, I decided to treat myself to a tummy tuck. Omg!! I absolutely love my results!! I would not trust just any surgeon to such a big surgery, but with Dr. Ulm, I was not worried AT ALL!! And once again my results were beyond what I expected!! I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ulm!!! Do not look any further!! I promise you will not be disappointed!! I am so grateful for the confidence he has given back to me!!!

Amazing experience start to finish. Doctor Ulm has an incredible bedside manner and is truly gifted at what he does. He explained procedure well and answered all my questions with patience and care. I got botched by Dr in Florida who was on lifetime fixing botched patient therefore I thought he was a good.. I had a saline leak from a previous implant. This Florida Dr, despite my 5 emails not to be bigger than I was before (I’m small framed) not only made my breast 350 to 415,, one Breast was much larger than other by one size, they were oddly shaped , and they were much saggier from what I was before. I was so scared for surgery again, who to have it with. I didn’t want to stay that way , I always work hard on my body. I work out running and weights, it crushed me. It was extremely emotional. It’s not like a bad tailored shirt I could take off. It decrease my confidence and was financially draining . Not only did Dr, Ulm revision make me back to where I was but better !!! I’m perkier and shaped beautifully ! I think it’s so very very important to find a doctor who listens! Who knows how to to give you the right fit and knows how to do beautiful surgery! Cosmetic surgery is an art!!! It’s so extremely important to find a good surgeon ! I highly highly recommend Dr. Ulm ! Thank Dr Ulm for giving me confidence back !!!
